Hello Everybody,

Welcome to the Butler Boardroom here at rcs construction. I’m sporting my Northwood hat today, Northwood Long-Term Care is one of our newest and most exciting clients, and we’re proud to be building long-term care facilities for them.

We actually broke ground today in Fall River, which is a great new project for us. We’ll also be breaking ground in Dartmouth very soon, and we’ve already started work in Chester at Shoreham Village.

It’s been a great ride so far. All I can say is—it’s a fantastic group of people. It’s been exciting for us to be part of this team and to be building these facilities for such a desperately needed service in our community.

I was fortunate enough to get a full tour of Northwood in downtown Halifax. After going through all the spaces and meeting so many of the people along the way, I can tell you: Northwood is a first-class operation. Absolutely first class. I’m actually getting excited about getting old because I wouldn’t mind ending up there myself. They’ve got a bar, they’ve got happy hour, and I even saw a little spot where I could probably sneak a cigar—don’t tell anyone.

But in all honesty, I was incredibly impressed—with the people, the place, and the opportunity ahead.

I think it’s important for everyone to know that this is the real deal. It’s a great place. We’re thrilled to be part of the team, to be creating more beds for Nova Scotia, and we look forward to working with Northwood on future projects. We can’t wait to get started on the third one.
