The Granite Centre development project in Moncton, New Brunswick, is an exciting prime commercial retail development where rcs construction serves as the design-build construction manager, working directly with Granite Centre Holdings Inc. This multi-phased project currently features six buildings and plans for two additional buildings, totaling approximately 150,000 ft² of leasable space. The development will host restaurants, retail stores, and office spaces, all adjacent to the new Costco Wholesale & Gas Bar.
rcs construction is completing Phase 4 of the development, which includes a 15,000 ft² strip with 12 units. Tenants such as V Nails Salon, Infinity Vapes, and Pizza Bros have already moved in, with many more national retailers expected as the project progresses.
rcs construction is completing Phase 4 of the development, which is for Plaza 6, adding another property to their portfolio along Granite Drive. Construction of Plaza 6 began in fall 2023 and was completed in spring 2024. This multi-unit plaza, designed with 12 units, features Daikin heating and cooling units fed with natural gas. It is ideally situated between Plaza 5 and Costco, benefiting from the constant flow of traffic.
Strategically located along Granite Drive, Elmwood Drive, and the Trans-Canada Highway, this site is in one of the fastest-growing areas of the city, offering high exposure with up to 30,000 vehicles passing daily. The development is zoned HC (Highway Commercial), allowing for various commercial and retail uses.
