For the past 14 years, Chris Osmond has been a key figure at rcs, serving as a Site Superintendent and carrying on a family legacy of excellence in construction.
Originally from Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador, Chris was introduced to the rcs family by his father, Roger Osmond, who dedicated 25 years to the company before retiring in 2024. Following in his father’s footsteps, Chris has built a reputation as a skilled, hardworking leader known for his dedication, expertise, and ability to tackle even the most complex projects.
Chris’s journey with rcs started with fixturing work on Target stores, where he was trained on racking etiquette before jumping into a Walmart project in New Glasgow. In 2014, he teamed up with his father for 18 months at the Deer Lake Irving Big Stop, an experience that remains a cherished chapter in his career. To this day, stories still circulate about Chris and his dad showing their appreciation to hardworking trades with a case of beer on a Friday afternoon—a simple yet meaningful gesture that helped earn trust and respect on job sites across Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
With an impressive portfolio of projects, Chris has tackled everything from grocery store renovations to high-end restaurants, including Waterpolo. No matter the complexity or location, he’s always up for the challenge. When asked about the toughest challenge he has faced on-site, he confidently replied:
“I don’t have challenges, buddy—I have answers for challenges!”
Chris’s leadership and dedication to safety have not gone unnoticed. He runs a tight, well-organized job site, ensuring that safety and efficiency remain top priorities. His ability to mentor and inspire those around him has earned him the respect of colleagues, subcontractors, and clients alike.
At our recent end-of-year holiday party, Chris was recognized with the prestigious John Wick Award, a testament to his grit, determination, and unwavering commitment to the job.
Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and is well known for his legendary moose and mash—a specialty that, much like his work ethic, leaves a lasting impression.
We are proud to have Chris as part of the rcs team, and we look forward to seeing his continued success in the years ahead!
