RMHC Home for Dinner Program

At rcs, our commitment to community goes far beyond the projects we build. Our recent involvement with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Atlantic has been a proud example of that philosophy in action.

This summer, our team had the honour of participating in two Home for Dinner volunteer cooks for RMHC Atlantic families. Our first cook was especially meaningful — it took place in the brand-new Ronald McDonald House, a 36-bed facility we were proud to build. Stepping back into the space, not as builders but as hosts, was a full-circle moment for our team. Our second cook brought us to the IWK Health Centre, where we once again traded hard hats for aprons to provide a warm, home-cooked meal for families who need it most.

We’ve also made an ongoing commitment: an rcs volunteer group will take part in the Home for Dinner program every month for the remainder of the year. It’s one more way we can help provide comfort and care during difficult times.

Our connection to RMHC Atlantic was also front and centre at this year’s rcs Golf Tournament in late July, where we raised over $40,000 for the organization thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, partners, and players.

From construction sites to kitchens to fairways, our relationship with RMHC Atlantic continues to grow — built on the same foundation of care, collaboration, and community that guides all we do.
