We are thrilled to announce our latest project with A&W, constructing their newest location at 50 White Rose Drive in St. John’s, NL. Following the successful completion of their Galway location in May 2023, rcs was honored to be selected as the sole contractor for this exciting new build.
The project involved the ground-up construction of a freestanding A&W restaurant, spanning 2,235 square feet. The structural steel building features wood trusses and roofing, along with wood frame exterior walls. Inside, the restaurant boasts a welcoming seating area, a fully equipped kitchen and prep area, a condiments station, a serving counter, four washrooms, a walk-in cooler and freezer, a storage room, and a utility room.
Construction commenced in July 2023, and we are proud to share that the new restaurant opened its doors in March 2024. It was a pleasure collaborating with the A&W team, and we look forward to strengthening our partnership and contributing to their growth in Newfoundland.
